Community Health Fair Scheduled on 2/27

The 2010 Community Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Rose State College Student Center in Midwest City, just north of I-40 and Hudiburg Drive at 6420 S.E. 15th St.   Each year, the event offers free health screenings, presentations and information for adults.  The event is co-sponsored by Rose State College and Midwest Regional Medical Center.            

Free screenings available to participants include blood pressure checks, body fat analysis, vision screenings, diabetes foot screenings and sleep apnea screenings.  A glucose and lipid profile (measuring Triglycerides, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL) will also be available at no charge from 9 a.m. to noon (fasting after midnight is required; test results mailed in 2 weeks).
