If you suffer from pain of arthritis, then you are in good company. Over 46 million U.S. adults have some form of arthritis, and as the population ages, these numbers are likely to increase.
Midwest Regional Medical Center will host an educational talk, with lunch, on this topic on Thursday, July 15, 11:30 – 1 p.m. Relief for Aching Joints will be presented by Dr. B. Ashwin Kumar, orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Kumar’s practice, Midwest Physicians Group, is located in Midwest City. During the program, Dr. Kumar will discuss how osteoarthritis affects the joints, how the condition is diagnosed and the current treatment options available.
The program and lunch will be held at the Renaissance Physicians office at 1800 S. Douglas Blvd., Midwest City. The event is free to the public, but RSVPs are required. Please call 737-0535 for more information and to reserve your seat.
