Welcome to CuddleBugs

Congratulations on having a baby.  We share your excitement about this special event in your life. CuddleBugs is the Renaissance Women's Center maternity program designed to educate and prepare expectant moms for pregnancy, labor & delivery, and caring for newborns.  We'll make sure you have the tools and knowledge you need, the care and support you want, and the special attention you will appreciate to feel comfortable and confident at every stage.

When you signup online at CuddleBugsBaby.com, you'll have acces to monthly CuddleBugs e-newsletters.  Each issue is full of helpful information about your baby's growth, what's happening to your body, tips and hints for coping and relaxing, and medical news for each stage of pregnancy.  You tell us your due date and we'll email you the appropriate monthly newsletter.

First Freestanding Birthing Center

At the Renaissance Women's Center in Midwest City, every childbirth experience is unique.

The Renaissance Women’s Center at Midwest Regional was the first free-standing birthing center in Oklahoma and has been used as a pattern for Renaissance Women’s Centers throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Owned and operated by Midwest Regional Medical Center, the staff is dedicated to the physical and emotional needs of pregnant women.

About Our Facility

The Center offers comfortable, family-centered, single-room maternity care. Well babies are kept in the rooms with their mothers and cared for the same nurse. Our team of experienced experts is dedicated to the care of both mother and baby.

The Center has 12 birthing suites, two operating rooms and a level II neonatal intensive care unit.   Click Here for the map to our facility.

Our on-site 24/7 medical coverage includes:

  • Special Care Nursery with Pediatricians
  • On-call Neonatologists
  • Obstetricians
  • Anesthesiologists

Meeting Healthcare Needs

The Renaissance Women’s Center is a birthing facility. This Center was established to meet the health care needs of pregnant women. Other services include postpartum care and breastfeeding counseling.

    Tea & Tour

    Join us the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. for a tour of the center.  To register, please call 405-610-3627. 

    Classes

    All classes will be held at Renaissance Physicians Midwest City, 1800 S. Douglas Blvd., Midwest City, OK 73130 - unless noted otherwise.

    All classes are free if mother is delivering at Renaissance Women's Center (RWC).  For parents who are interested in our classes but are not delivering at RWC, please call 405-610-3627 for information on class fees.


      Adorable Arrivals, Childbirth Classes

      The six-week series will cover nutrition, anatomy, stages and progression of labor, medication options, breathing techniques, postpartum care, newborn characteristics and daily infant care.  This is a must-do class for all parents birthing at Renaissance Women's Center.

      Breastfeeding Classes

      This two-week series will cover breastfeeding basics, common challenges and concerns.  A little learning can go a long way towards building your knowledge and comfort level.  Let us help you reach your breastfeeding goals.

      Sibling Classes

      This class is geared towards families who have a young child (or children) who could use help adjusting to a new baby.  The class will teach siblings how to hold a baby and help mom and dad with the baby's care.  The class includes lots of fun learning activities.
